Funaki has finished shooting for the video "Mr. Stonefish" on the ice-covered lake Mjøsa. The video is currently being edited and finished.

07.01.2005:
Funaki has finished mastering an EP which will be called "Pull for air". Release sometime soon on our own label FAKIRecords. Watch out for more info.

06.01.2005:
Funaki is shooting a video for the song Stonefish from the forthcoming EP. The video will be directed by Karl and is due for shooting on the ice-covered lake Mjøsa during january.

Funaki has finished recording our first album. We are currently working on getting a label to release the masterpiece. Get in touch if you are interested in releasing or distributing our brilliant material. A demo is available.

15.05.2004:
Funaki has returned from a very succesful and pleasant tour of the northern parts of Finland. We played for enthusiastic crowds in Taivalkoski and Tornio. Thank you for the hospitality and enthusiasm!
While in Taivalkoski the Funaki crew made some visual art. We decorated an outdoor billboard of app. 2 x 3 meters. The piece is called "lifesaver"

Funaki has finished off a three track EP from the forthcoming album. A VERY limited edition will be for sale at our gigs in Finland. The eel EP contains the tracks "the eel", "Mr. Stonefish", and "elephant song". Elephant song contains some amazing reed-work by fine musician Erik Balke blown on plastic tubes! And last but not least some very nice vocals by the lovely Iselin Jotun of Zane Pollution fame. Thank you! Listen to "the eel" in the earcandy section.

Funaki is heading for Funland - eh Finland: Between the 9. and 15. of May we will be playing in the northern parts of Finland and possibly Sweden. We are looking forward to doing our first gigs outside Norway - this will be our first staggering steps towards world dominion.

A three track single from the forthcoming album will be on sale at the Felix gig on saturday the 24. april. VERY limited edition - be sure to bring hard cash and get a collectible.

Funaki is currently recording an album due for release sometime this spring. We have set up base camp in Vinterland studio in Lillehammer. Chief, engineer and mixmaster is Stein Tore Sønsteli. The album is produced by the funaki crew.
